This year's event will be hosted by the Steinke family at their farm near Cornell, WI.
This walk will be a really informative and educational event with a focus on grazing management to enhance ecosystem function, along with direct marketing and partnering with local restaurants to get great, local, grass fed products to consumers.
Cost is $10/person and kids are welcome and eat free.
Meal will include Sedge Wood Farm brisket smoked by Northwoods Brew Pub.
Steinke's have restored many acres of wetlands, planted trees, prairies, and are continually doing their best to encourage biodiversity on their farm. Their farming practices are designed to protect groundwater and nourish and build the soil.
Address: 30101 190th ave, Cornell, WI 54732
